House
History
Known as Vivenda Barradas, this building located in the fishing village of Trafaria, was built at the end of the 19th century. It began as an urban building, consisting of stores on the ground floor, first floor and an annex.
Built at the beginning of 1908 at the request of Lavínia Aurora Roldão Guedes Coelho and her husband Miguel Guedes Coelho, official of the Ministry of Public works trade and industry, some improvements were introduced over the years, namely the construction of a wall that closed the property, a cobbled walkway and the construction of sanitation infrastructure.
In 1940, Casa Barr consisted of three floors. Ground floor with three divisions and patios, first floor and an attic with six divisions. That same year, grandfather Rodrigo Barradas made a request to stay as owner of the building, starting a long journey full of memories that could not be lost.
These are stories of generations of a holiday home marked by difficult times and, the entire renovation was carried out with all the care and attention, meeting the most demanding criteria, modern at the same time with some older refereces.
